The region's first sexual assault response team was unveiled this week after last year's statewide changes in the examination, treatment and billing of sexual assault victims.
It happened Wednesday morning at the St. Tammany Parish Coroner's Office. The initiative has two goals: catching the predator and protecting the victim.
