EVAWI's
OnLine Training Institute is now offering 67 contact hours through the
California Board of Registered Nursing (BRN) for $250. That's a cost of
only $3.73 per hour of training. Even better, our OnLine Training Institute (OLTI) is completely free, offering a unique opportunity for nurses to benefit from the course material.
The
OLTI provides a total of 12 self-paced training courses developed by
EVAWI to help improve the criminal justice and community response to
sexual assault. Participants in the OnLine Training Institute (OLTI)
work through the various training modules and then apply this newly
acquired knowledge in realistic and interactive scenarios, as well as
assessment methods such as quizzes, tests, and case studies.
The one-time fee of $250 can be used for as many modules as you like. Currently, there are 12 modules available in the OLTI:
We are currently in the process of developing two more modules to be launched soon, one on Effective Response to Victims with Disabilities and a second one entitled, Breaking Down Barriers: The Role of Community-Based and System-Based Victim Advocates.
With your one-time fee of $250, you can earn contact hours for all 12
OLTI modules that are currently available as well as any others we add
in the future.
On our Nursing Accreditation page, you will find a breakdown of contact hours per module as well as the BRN Contact Hours Payment Form. For more information about the OLTI, including a list of Frequently Asked Questions, please see the website.
