Re: General forensics certification

I was inquiring if there will soon be guidelines and certification opportunities for general forensics much like SANE certification?  I have heard rumors for years that it is "in the works" but I haven't heard any official information regarding this.  Does anyone know about this at all?

I believe that once you have a forensic nursing certificate from a college...mine are from Kaplan & I'm working on a 2nd from U of C, Riverside...that you can sit for the CFN exam and get a professional certification much like the SANE one. That's what I have been told through U of C. Hope this helps. I'm not sure if you can do it by just getting the study guide for the exam or not.
