Welcome to the New Jersey Chapter

To develop, support, and promote forensic nursing by providing networking, educational conferences, and accessible information on forensic events across the state and country. We look to the International Association of Forensic Nurses for the model we will follow and in the standards we will set for ourselves as forensic nurses.

The New Jersey Chapter of the International Association of Forensic Nurses is an organization formed to promote and support the specialty of Forensic Nursing throughout the State of New Jersey.

Forensic Nursing is the application of Nursing Science to the Administration of Justice.

Forensic nurses also have a specialized knowledge of the legal system and collect evidence, provide medical testimony in court, and provide consultation to legal authorities.
